We have somewhat touched on why and how rest is beneficial in the previous two blogs, but I wanted to highlight a few other benefits in this final blog of the month.
1. Provides a sense of calm 2. Reduces muscle tension 3. Lowers blood pressure 4. Reduces anger and frustration 5. Improves focus and overall mood
These are just a few of the benefits, in addition to those covered in the previous blogs this month, of finding rest in your day. It’s often extremely hard to remember this when you’re in a stressful time or having a busy day, but if you can rest for even just a few short minutes you can tap into the sense of calm.
